A Series Approach

Archeophone's mission is to rescue the recordings from the industry's acoustic era and put them out remastered on compact discs with scholarly notes and rare graphics in attractive packages. Considering that the acoustic era lasted approximately 35 years (1890-1925), that's a pretty tall order. So we are trying to wrap our arms around this vast body of material by dividing it into more manageable categories. This is the logic behind our series approach to our CD reissues.
